We don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but Labor Day marks the start of the golf season slowing down in many parts of the country. If that is a reality you are facing right now, you may want to consider some of the golf gear deals that come with the end of the season. Here are five end-of-season golf gear deals to think about.

Summer Golf Apparel Discounts

Summer golf apparel is deeply discounted right now. If you need short sleeves, shorts, and gear to keep you cool on the course, grab it today. Even if you don’t get a ton of use out of it this year, you can wear it next season. Also, go with some neutral colors that you can use for layering when the temperatures start to drop. Things like the Under Armour Tech Polo are now less than $30.

Golf Membership Deals

Many golf courses are coming off of their prime season. This can be a perfect time to purchase a golf membership at a deeply discounted price.

Why is this the case?

The course is about to experience a slow period, and they will likely not receive many new memberships until the high season returns.

Sometimes, you can work out a deal where you pay the initiation fee now, and dues start next season.

Negotiate golf memberships whenever you can.

Golf Gear Price Drops

New golf gear is about to come out. Over the next few months we will see the latest gear come to the market and the 2024 releases are going to go down in price.

If you have been waiting for a new driver, set of irons, or putter, now is the time of year to get one without paying premium prices.

Things like the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max are already $50 off, but prices may drop more soon.

End-of-Season Sales on Golf Balls

Look for deals on golf balls, especially when buying in bulk. Golf ball manufacturers are well aware that the season is coming to an end. Look for deals where you can buy a few dozen and get one free or at a discounted price per dozen. Vice is well known for the deals that you offer.

Golf Technology and Training Aids

New technology doesn’t stay new for very long. If you had your eye on a new rangefinder, Bluetooth speaker, or training aid, now could be the time to grab it and still have some time to use it before the official off-season.

My advice here is to invest in technology that can be used throughout the winter. Pick devices that allow you to practice from home so your game is fresh when the weather warms back up.

Final Thoughts

Invest in the right gear at the right time of year to keep your golf season going all year long.
